The Age Categories and Costs are as follows:

To participate in this Festival, please submit your payment to EISRA by March 2, 2025. Once payment has been verified, a detailed registration form will be sent to the Local Coordinator to finalize registration. Payment options are: • EMT to info@eisra.ca (info@eisra.ca)(set password to "EISRA2026") • Cash/Certified Cheque/Money Order payable to Eeyou Istchee Sports and Recreation Association • Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer (please email for more information) When submitting your cheque requisition or memo with your finance department or person responsible for payment, please cc both tmoore@eisra.ca and jgosset@eisra.ca to confirm or verify that the payment is in process. Final registration & payment is due on March 2 @ 11:59 PM.

Communities with a population under 1,000 may register: • Maximum 2 import players on their official roster • Imports must be Indigenous players In Competitive Hockey, teams may also roster: • 1 Indigenous import goalie

A player is not considered an import if: • They have lived in the community for 12 consecutive months, or • It is their home community (typically band membership or most recent residence before relocation) Residency and school attendance are primary determining factors.

Yes — if: • They are a second-year player in their current age group • They provide parental consent • Their local association approves If their community does not have a team in their age group, they may qualify under the import rule. Players can only play for one (1) team and one (1) category

Minimum Players Under Hockey Québec playing standards (which govern the festival), a team (not including half-ice) must have: • Minimum 6 players to start a game • 5 skaters • 1 goalie If a team cannot ice 6 eligible players, the game is subject to default. Maximum Players • Maximum 19 Players • 17 Skaters • 2 Goalies

The recommended roster size is 8 to 10 players for half-ice Why is 8–10 players recommended? Half-ice (4-on-4) hockey is designed to maximize: • Puck touches • Decision-making • Ice time per player With 8–10 players: • 4 players are on the ice • 4–6 rotate on the bench • Shifts stay short and high energy

Any negative posts, comments, or images shared on social media about other players, coaches, officials, teams or the event may result in disciplinary action, including suspension from the tournament. This includes all forms of cyberbullying, harassment, or disrespectful online behaviour.
