EISRA & McGill University Partnership
The Eeyou Istchee Sports & Recreation Association (EISRA) is proud to partner with McGill University’s Ice Hockey Research Group to bring elite-level on and off-ice testing to our athletes.
This initiative, gives players the chance to test their skills, track their progress, and gain valuable performance insights from McGill’s leading hockey researchers.
About the Partnership
This initiative is a collaboration between Eeyou Istchee Sports & Recreation Association (EISRA) and McGill University’s Ice Hockey Research Group.
EISRA is committed to supporting the development of Indigenous athletes by providing opportunities for skill enhancement, performance tracking, and access to high-level training resources. McGill University’s Ice Hockey Research Group specializes in hockey performance testing and athlete development, helping players understand their strengths and areas for improvement through data-driven analysis. Together, we are bringing valuable, science-based hockey development opportunities to Indigenous athletes at the First Nations Minor Hockey & Broomball Festival and beyond.
